I had a super busy weekend with a quick three-day trip to Poland (nosotros get there to shop for IKEA as there isn't one in Ukraine) so I'm writing this mail in a chip of a bustle. And then much to tell, yet not enough hours in the 24-hour interval to do so. I'll share my shopping in another post, meanwhile, permit's talk well-nigh the kit! It is a great one just in time for Summer!
I have to apologize, I don't have many card examples to share, just ii projects this fourth dimension, but I'g hoping these will give you some ideas on how yous tin utilize your kit. Enough chit chat lets dive in! The first bill of fare features one of my all-time favorite stamping techniques – pattern stamping. Watch my video for things yous DON'T Want TO DO when stamping patterns.
VIDEO TUTORIAL
As always, I filmed a video tutorial showing how to create this project from start to finish. I'm hoping you'll enjoy it. Sentinel it beneath or on myYoutube channel.

JUNGLE Pattern Bill of fare – DETAILS
I began making this carte past using just a few images from my kit, I clustered them close together when building my background. I made certain to fill every lilliputian corner with a stamp so that I had less white/open infinite on the finished card. I used ane large epitome of the elephant, this was my starting point, added lots of leaves and the paradigm of a cheetah, which is 2nd in size on this design.
Next, I added smaller images around those two. Having stamped the outset cluster I re-used the same images to build the pattern and extend it further beyond the background. I besides rotated my images this time, flipped some leaves upside down and to the side where it made sense to do and then on my card.
I used the following marker colors to color this pattern: YG03, G99, G94 to color the greenery, BV08, V17 to color some of the flowers, especially those that looked like succulents, W5, W3, W1 to color the elephant, Y38, Y17, Y35 to color the cheetah, E33, E15 and Y26 to colour the coconuts too as C9, C7 and C5 to color the toucan. I besides used a white pen to add spots to the snake and also fix any of the Copic marking bleeding. Next, I added a stamped sentiment and too a couple of enamel hearts between the images where there was space.
Design stamping is something I admittedly dear as there doesn't have to be whatsoever rhyme or reason to your bill of fare as information technology would take to exist on a card featuring a scene, so it's a very relaxing way to postage and play with your supplies.
JUNGLE SUNSET SCENE Bill of fare – DETAILS
I did mention I had another card idea to share and this one features a scene. I white oestrus embossed Leafy Bold Prints groundwork in regular white embossing pulverization on Azalea Cardstock, ink blended a sunset-like background using Hero'south new reactive inks. For this background, I blended Lemon Drop, Creamsicle and Taffy on Distress Watercolor Paper and spritzed it with h2o to assist the ink move and also to give me these pretty spots. I trimmed this background down, matted on a white card and cream mounted on my carte du jour.
Next, I had previously stamped, colored and cut out a few additional images from my kit – a co-operative, an elephant, a cluster of monstera leaves, a flamingo, an also a snake. I used a mix of regular and thin foam adhesive to cream mount these elements on the card to make a jungle sunset scene.
As yous can tell there wasn't a place reserved for the sentiment, so I stamped one on a strip of white cardstock and just added it vertically to the right of my ink blended background. It'south an unusual placement, but it adds a nice something extra to this bill of fare.
